Following a trending video of Joe Mettle putting out a dance challenge to his colleague Gospel artistes, Akesse Brempong and MoG have responded with other trending videos of themselves giving out better dance moves.
The multiple award-winning gospel act, Joe Mettle, laid the claim down that no contemporary gospel artiste that he knows of can defeat him on the dancefloor.
He further went ahead while being interviewed on the DJ Live Show with JLoops, to mention several names in the gospel music industry who were not competent enough to face him.
These included the likes of Akesse Brempong whom he claimed only goes backwards, MoG whom he also claimed to just jump and not dance, Ps. Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye, KODA, Jeshurun Okyere, John Sena, Calvis Hammond and several others.
He however admitted that names like Francis Amo and Paolo were not to be even debated about as they exude a tremendous amount of energy and dance skills when ministering on stage.
In replying to Joe’s bragging, Akesse posted a video on Instagram of himself and Joe on stage, with Joe Mettle conceding to the fact that Akesse was the dancer and not himself.
Infact, sources reveal that Akesse Brempong and his team, the Tribe of Judah (ToJ), are intensively preparing towards a massive dance off at his annual free outdoor event, Agape Carnival, which would be held on the 27th of July at the Achimota Retail Centre.

Decorated music minister, MoG, has also replied the challenge in a viral video of himself giving out some ‘Shaku Shaku’ and ‘Zanku’ moves on stage together with a group of dancers.
See post below:
Jeshurun Okyere also took the opportunity while hosting his radio show, to reply Joe Mettle by relating his so called dance moves to the movement of a grasshopper.
See Jeshurun’s rather hilarious video and dance moves below:
As if that wasn’t enough, the ‘Wo So’ hitmaker, Eugene Zuta, has also come out to accept Joe Mettle’s claims of not knowing how to dance but equally discredited Joe for thinking he was a better dancer.
See video below:
Furthermore, Ps. Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye has also annulled Joe’s claims by quoting scripture that seems to emphasize that no one has seen what he can fully do on the dancefloor yet and that when it’s time, the Spirit of the Lord would come upon him and he would perform just as the biblical character of David did.
See his response below:
Well, the challenge is on and you can judge for yourselves in the comments section. It’s all fun and Joy when the saints dance together in praise to the protector of our souls.
So the next time you hear that gospel praise jam, don’t hesitate into dancing your heart out in any way you can. If even Joe feels proud about his dance moves why not you. Feel free to ease off some stress and let go of yourself !
