Yes, this is a big deal. Not everyone gets to be featured by a Grammy Awards nominee and this, Stonebwoy would get to do twice. Grammy nominated reggae artist Rocky Dawuni has announced that Stonebwoy would be on his new album.
Looks like Stonebwoy has a thing for Grammy nominated artists as he last featured on Morgan Heritage’s album which has been nominated for the 2018 Grammy’s. Rocky Dawuni has been in the country since the festive period during which he performed at Stonebwoy’s BHIM concert.
You cannot take this lightly as Rocky Dawuni is of international repute and could well be the first Ghanaian to win a Grammy as his albums have been well appreciated by all and don’t you forget that he has had his songs used on EA Sports FIFA video games.
Rocky Dawuni toured many counties in 2017 including India and was a part of the UN Environment programme to beat pollution.
Not much noise is made about him down here probably due to reggae music’s low attention but he is arguably the biggest music export from Ghana at the moment.
