“Don’t Follow Me” is the latest single from award-winning Ghanaian rapper and songwriter M.anifest.
The song is a cautionary tale about life choices. M.anifest employs his storytelling prowess over a groovy Afrobeats-inspired production.
M.anifest who has worked with the likes of Damon Albarn and Erykah Badu among many other noteworthy collaborations won the Best Rapper of the Year and the Hip-Hop song of the year at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.
He also received an award at Midem in Cannes last year.
‘Don’t Follow Me’ features a punchy feature from Ghanaian rap heavyweight Yaa Pono and acclaimed songwriter Bayku.
