Owing to the recent release of his 7th studio album, Untamed, one of Ghana’s leading Reggae music sensation, Samini, has clocked the 8th position on Billboards top 10 World chart in the Reggae albums category.
The ‘My Own’ crooner, who recently packed thousands unto the streets of Osu during his Saminifest concert, achieved this feat by rubbing shoulders with global reggae music icons such as Damian Marley, Beres Hammond, Sting and Shaggy while surpassing big names such as Ziggy Marley who is currently in the 10th position.
It’s evident through such achievements that music brewed in the Ghanaian pot has a competitive advantage over the others on any global stage.
