Early next week, Ghanaian songwriters Shaker and J.Derobie will travel to France for an international songwriting collaboration under the auspices of Regimends Management, hosted at Studio M.A.
The writing camp, scheduled to take place in Bordeaux from 27 June to 10 July 2025, will see the duo working closely with acclaimed French producer Charlélie De Munico.
The sessions are designed to foster cross-cultural collaboration, blending African songwriting perspectives with European production approaches.
At the conclusion of the camp, selected compositions will be pitched to leading international record labels for potential artist placements, sync opportunities and commercial releases, positioning the works for global reach and long-term value creation.
“This initiative reflects how writers work, how they collaborate, and how value is fairly created and shared across borders,” said Shaker.
