Holland-based Ghanaian songstress, Nana Fofie, has performed at the Nicki WRLD Tour of American music diva, Nicki Minaj, in Amsterdam.
Renowned for her enticing ability to create the perfect song through combining existing tracks is why she is currently known as the ‘Mash Up Queen’.
Nana earned a slot to perform at Nicki Minaj’s world tour in Amsterdam on the 25th of March this year and the American diva just can’t get enough of her.
Nicki Minaj confessed in an interview, “She’s so f*cking dope. I wish I had time to play her. Hopefully, I can do music with her one day”.
“Mad Over You” was the mash up track expanded her fanbase effortlessly – with the likes of Michael Dapaah and Universal Music all taking a shine to Nana Fofie onto the music scene.
The video as at now has accumulated over 4 Million views on YouTube.
Falling in love with music very early on in her childhood; Nana grew up within a very musical family with all of her siblings also pursuing music.
Upon taking inspiration from them, she was also heavily influenced by artists such as; Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill and Daddy Lumba.
The singer/songwriter has already worked with a few exciting artists/producers within the UK such as; Mr Eazi, HE3B and Reuben Isaac (Electronic).
She was also recently featured on a track (Chorus) with footballer Memphis Depay, thus, on the track,”Akwaaba”, confirming her incredible talent that has already been foreseen!
