Adina, Teephlow, Amandzeba, others feature on new VGMA theme song

Following exclusives first announced on ghanamusic.com about the official theme song of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the organizers have unveiled the artistes featured on the tune.

As promised to be announced today, the line up of talents collaborating on the new 20th edition theme song of the VGMAs include the unmistakable vocals of the 2017 VGMA Artiste of the Year, Joe Mettle and the sensational female songstress, Adina.

The two Lynx Entertainment signees, KiDi and Kuami Eugene, who have had an obvious good year of churning several hits couldn’t just be left out of what the organisers love to term as the biggest collaboration of the year.

The current trend of music in Ghana and the world at large integrate Rap as an essential artistic endeavour and hence, the West side represented on this prestigious project with the bars of its lyrical genius, Teephlow.

You heard it first hand on ghanamusic.com that a legend would be featured on this tune and there you have it; none other than the evergreen Amandzeba who perhaps had engineered a hunger for his artistry for all these years, just to satisfy Ghanaians with his delivery on this tune.

The entire project was produced by the award-winning music producer and CEO of Highly Spiritual Music, Kaywa.

The new theme song replaces Osibisa’s ‘Warrior Song’ which has been the official theme song since the inception of the awards scheme and had been intentionally exempted from being played as usual, during this year’s nominees announcement party.
