Exclusives hosted by Ghana Music on the ongoing unveiling of nominees for the 2019 VGMAs have it that Ghana’s versatile Gospel Reggae Kingpin, Akesse Brempong, has been nominated for the Gospel Artiste of the Year award.

He shares this category with the likes of other well-deserving Gospel artistes like KODA, Obaapa Christy, Diana Hamilton, Joyce Blessing and the 2017 VGMA artiste of the year, Joe Mettle.

Despite his hardwork over the years, evident in several of hits like Crazy Love, God is Working, No Weed, Spontaneous Worship 1 and Spontaneous Worship 2, this would be Akesse Brempong’s first ever filing of nominations and getting nominated as well, since the VGMAs commenced.
