After copping “Reggae/Dancehall of the Year” nod in this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK, Akosua Kwakye,- known in Showbiz as AK Songstress drops new single, “It’s Not Easy”.
“It’s Not Easy” is a lead single that she did to pay tribute to the late Reggae Legend, Lucky Dube, of South Africa.
AK Songstress has been quietly working on an upcoming Album EP which will be dropping soon in the month of August.
The Late Lucky Dube’s original version, is for the men and focuses on a chat with his mother about an impending divorce from the woman he married.
AK Songstress’ version is for the women and focuses on a chat with her father about an impending divorce from the man she married.
This song is a masterpiece and creativity at it’s best. Is this single telling us what to expect from the upcoming “King Of The Queens” EP which is strictly reggae dancehall?
