Under the coloured lights of the Ghana Meets Naija stage, Ras Kuuku sought to impose his authority on a genre that has been made the birthright of two artists.
From the onset, he knew he had to leave a lasting impression on every attendee by rock the auditorium and boy he did.
When Ras Kuuku started mumbling some of his lines whiles walking through the aisle onto the stage, he made sure he caught everyone’s attention with some few Nigerians were asking who he was.
Alas, Ras Kuuku finally got onto the stage from the fan-swamped aisle, draped in full regalia ready to jam the venue to a zenith that would be talked about after the event.
Ras Kuuku was not short of energy!!
Shouts of ‘Puom’ ‘Puom’ was all over the auditorium when he started his performance.
From Nwasina to the performance finale Wo Ras Kuuku, who has mostly been undone by awards schemes, well announced himself on his biggest stage yet.
Now, is it too soon to say Ras Kuuku would be the 2020 VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year? I doubt you’ll say no.
