I don’t own a church, I pastor one – Cwesi Oteng

Celebrated Gospel music act, Cwesi Oteng, has dispelled rumours that he has established a church solely owned and run by him.

Speaking to Nana Adwoa Sarkodie of Saturday Live on Citi TV the ‘God Dey Bless Me’ hitmaker explained: “I don’t have a church. I am just privileged to be a pastor of a church.”

Responding to the reasons for establishing a Christian fellowship, the singer who is now a pastor for FloRiva Church said God was preparing him for the future.

“I’ve been singing for almost 20years in church and professionally. I’m not getting younger, I’m getting old, and as I’m getting older, I’m moving into other levels of ministry. God has other plans for me,” he added.

Cwesi Oteng further stressed on the need to embark on evangelism as Christians to win souls Christ.

Cwesi Oteng has hit songs like ‘Kabiyesi’, ‘Songs of the Spirit’, ‘Lord You Are Good’, ‘With Everything’, ‘Jehovah’ and ‘My Defence.’
