Essi stands tall to win Uncovered Artiste of the Year – Essi’s PA speaks

Excitement built up as the prestigious Ghana Music Awards UK 2023 nominees were unveiled at the launch yesterday. This year, the spotlight was on Essi, a rising star in the Ghanaian music scene, who had been nominated for the coveted Uncovered Artiste of the Year award.

Essi has always dreamt of sharing her music with the world. Her unique blend of Afrobeat and soulful melodies had captured the hearts of many, and her journey to the top of the music industry was nothing short of extraordinary.

As the main awards night drew nearer, Essi’s personal assistant, Aliandra Ackon, couldn’t help but express her unwavering belief in Essi’s talent. “Essi stands out tall amongst all the nominees in the category,” Aliandra declared with conviction. “Her passion, dedication, and the authenticity she brings to her music make her a true artist. Essi, also known as Elizabeth Maame Esi Awortwe, is a Ghanaian soul Afro-pop and live musician from Komenda in Ghana’s Central Region. She is known for her catchy melodies and soulful vocals. She has released one studio album, G.O.O.D tape Vol. 1, which was released in 2022. She has also collaborated with other Ghanaian artists such as Kelvyn Boy, Frenzy Offixial, and Trap Boi Flame.

he Ghana Music Awards UK is a prestigious award ceremony that celebrates the best in Ghanaian music. It is held every year in the UK, and this year’s event will be held on 7th October 2023 at the Royal Regency, London.
