Ghanaian award-winning artist, Kwesi Slay recently shared how he expresses himself through his music.
The rapper began to gain mainstream recognition when he released his first single 3y3 Normal featuring prolific rapper, Yaa Pono in 2015 followed up with some hit bangers like ‘Street Ways’, ‘Wedi Bet’, ‘Follow You’, and later released his debut EP Aben (The Revolution of Deep Sound From an Unknown Voice) which racked up millions of streams.
Songs like ‘Wedi Bet’ and ‘Visa’ which featured Wanlov Kubolor off the “Aben EP” simply talk about life and how the youth find it difficult to get daily bread.
